Medical Device Reprocessing Instructor - Part Time Faculty/Instructor Profile The School of Health and Wellness at Red Deer Polytechnic is currently inviting applications for a part time Instructor in the Medical Device Reprocessing Certificate program. This program prepares graduates for an exciting and challenging career as a Medical Device Reprocessing Technician. In a blended learning environment, this program will help students learn how to gather, take apart, clean, disinfect, decontaminate, reassemble, package, sterilize, store, and distribute surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for reuse in a health care facility. The School of Health and Wellness provides exceptional opportunities to work closely with students, faculty and staff in an innovative, supportive environment that promotes creativity, scholarship, and commitment to student success. Preferred Qualifications
Current CPR-Health Care Provider A master’s level degree in a related field. Relevant teaching experience. Salary or Hourly? Salary Salary Commensurate with education and experience Benefits and Compensation Information Part-time Instructors: Receive an additional 14% of their gross salary in lieu of benefits and vacation pay. Part-time instructors are not eligible for comprehensive health and dental benefits packages. Eligible for individual professional development funding, additional free professional development opportunities offered through the institution.
