Job description
- The University of Winnipeg Collegiate invites applications for a 1.0 Term Appointment English Instructor commencing September 8, 2026.
- Teaching duties will include English 20F (2 sections), English Comprehensive Focus 40E, English Transactional Focus 40E and 40S, and Indigenous Studies (TRC) 21G.
- The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, certified teacher who has a strong background in High School English courses.
- Strong preference will be given to a candidate who holds a Masters Degree in Education and/or related field.
- The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience as outlined in the University of Winnipeg Collegiate Collective agreement.
- Instructors of The Collegiate are represented by the University of Winnipeg Faculty Association (Collegiate Unit).
- The appointment and employment of an Instructor is subject to the provisions of the UWFA (Collegiate) Collective Agreement which can be accessed on the University web-site at https://www.uwinnipeg.ca/hr/collective-agreements.html .
