Job description
Research Assistants are normally students, in a University of Winnipeg undergraduate program, employed to assist with tasks related to research. Work is performed within defined guidelines and under supervision of a more senior researcher or faculty member. Position Overview: The RA will be responsible for data entry of project data into SPSS and will also be responsible for assisting with administrative tasks related to the larger research project.
Duties
Assist with the production of a research report. Perform detailed review and editing of research project outputs. Assist in data collection, data entry, analysis, and interpretation of qualitative and quantitative data.
Qualifications
2+ years experience conducting detailed review and editing of research documents, including government documents. Knowledge of database rules and SPSS. 2+ years experience in a data entry position. 2+ years experience working with young people in a program setting. Training in ethics, safety, and/or crisis intervention and support. Condition(s) of Employment: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. The period of work will be from May 11, 2026 - October 30, 2026 and the estimated total hours of work will be 20-100 hours .
