Qualifications

Current certificate of registration (RN or RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario or eligible for registration is required Minimum of two years of recent clinical experience in Long Term Care Current BCLS certification is required

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Work effectively with faculty to provide an optimal learning experience for students
• Use applicable educational guidelines and the policies and procedures of the college and the clinical agency to supervise and monitor students as they provide ongoing client care
• Make accurate observations and assessments related to students’ abilities to use the nursing process and provide this as feedback to faculty
