The Youth Support Caseworker facilitates independent living workshops and provides direct support to youth in care to help them achieve their personal goals. They are responsible for conducting life skills assessments, monitoring progress, and collaborating with external agencies to ensure successful outcomes for the youth.
Candidates must possess a degree or a minimum 2-year diploma in Child and Youth Care or a related human services field. A valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License, a reliable vehicle with specific insurance, and clear criminal and intervention record checks are mandatory.

The Youth Support Caseworker's responsibilities include facilitating weekly Lyra workshops, developing hands-on programming material, completing Life Skills Assessments with each youth and teaching independent living skills. Youth Support Caseworkers are required to support youth in attending appointments and maintaining their educational program and/or employment. Reporting on monthly goal progress, completing on-going assessments, and weekly activities updates to the Program Manager and Children and Family Services along with working as part of a team within the program and Children and Family Services to ensure the overall success of the youth. Hiring Requirements:
Degree or 2+ Year Diploma in Child and Youth Care, or related human services field.
