Employment Counsellor- Canada Summer Jobs (8 weeks contract )

The employment counsellor provides pre-Employment counselling and job placement support to youth in the york region. Responsibilities include assisting with resume preparation, career exploration, and maintaining case notes while acting as a mentor and advocate.

Candidates must be in the process of or have completed a post-Secondary degree or diploma in a mental health or social services field. A current first aid/Cpr certification and a police services background check are required.
