- Participate in organizing and teaching the continuing care assistant program.
- Provide ongoing evaluation and support of students.
- Assist with coordination and supervision of practicums.
- Prepare and submit evaluative program feedback.
- Participate in curriculum development.
- Develop community linkage/Networking.
- Travel as required.
- Weekend and evening work
Requirements summary
- Registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse with a degree in nursing or education or related field.
- Active registration with crns or crpns.
- Minimum two years of relevant geriatric care experience.
- Effective instructional and interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency with internet, email, ms office.
