Core responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and ensure the safety of all participants.
- Prepare and deliver music lessons using a variety of teaching techniques.
- Build strong relationships with school administrators and staff.
- Track and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
- Motivate and inspire students to develop their musical abilities.
- Attend staff meetings and required training sessions.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements summary
- Piano playing ability.
- Experience with percussion instruments (Preferred).
- Experience teaching music (Preferred).
- Experience working with children aged 3.5–12.
- Current vulnerable sector check.
- Valid first aid & cpr-C certification.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
