The tutor will implement the read with me program and plan lessons to improve student skills in specific subjects. They are also responsible for evaluating student progress and maintaining a supportive, engaging learning environment.

Candidates must have knowledge of provincial school curriculums and learning theories, along with the ability to communicate effectively in english. A current standard first aid and infant child cpr certification is required, and the candidate must meet provincial childcare employment standards.
