Community Disability Worker: One Sunday per Month

The community disability worker is responsible for implementing individual service plans to support individuals with disabilities, providing direct care, and promoting community participation. They must also ensure safety, maintain records, and communicate effectively with individuals and their families.

Candidates are preferred to have post-Secondary education in community rehabilitation and disabilities studies and must complete mandatory training courses. Effective communication, time management skills, and the ability to work in challenging situations are essential.
