Core responsibilities
The case manager provides initial support and case management services using trauma-Informed and equity-Centred approaches for students experiencing complex concerns or critical incidents, including serving as the first point of contact for gender-Based and sexual violence disclosures. This role also involves coordinating and supporting the care team in developing intervention plans for students of concern and assessing potential risks.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in a relevant field such as social work or psychology, along with active membership in the applicable regulatory body, and a minimum of five years of experience in crisis or case management. Specific experience requirements include at least three years supporting survivors of gender-Based or sexual violence and mandatory training in violence risk/Threat assessment.
