Psychotherapist - Limited Term

The psychotherapist will provide mental health, addictions, and trauma-Informed psychotherapy to students, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across ontario tech university and durham college. Clinical duties encompass intake, assessment, intervention, safety planning, crisis response, referrals, and short-Term psychotherapy, while also managing daily operations like scheduling and record maintenance.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in a relevant field (Psychology, social work, counselling, etc.) and maintain good standing with a relevant ontario regulatory body (Crpo, ocswssw, etc.). Required experience includes a minimum of five years in mental health, preferably in a post-Secondary setting, along with specific training in trauma therapies and risk assessment.
