Part-time Professor- 911 & Police Communications

The professor will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, utilizing adult education principles to engage students, and effectively using educational technologies for course delivery and grade management. Duties also include developing and ensuring current and relevant curriculum while working independently and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Candidates must possess a relevant degree with industry credentials, including required apco police certified instructor status and police dispatch experience, along with a minimum of five years of recent, relevant work experience. Teaching experience at the post-Secondary level, understanding of universal design for learning, and demonstrated commitment to student experience are also necessary.
