Summer Respite Counsellor - 2026

The summer respite counsellor ensures the personal growth and safety of assigned children through direct supervision, providing integrated respite support and basic care services to children with developmental, physical, or mental health concerns. Responsibilities also include attending required training, maintaining confidentiality, and acting as a positive role model.

Candidates must be eligible under the canada summer job grant (Age 15-30, canadian citizen/Resident/Refugee status) and must pass a vulnerable sector check. Required attributes include experience with children or individuals with disabilities, a desire to promote inclusion, willingness to provide personal support, and the ability to manage challenging behaviors.
