AccessAbility Technician

The accessability technician actively supports the development, implementation, and coordination of support measures and services for students requiring special accommodations, including participating in the elaboration of individualized plans and providing necessary training and continuous support. Key duties involve assisting with scheduling for invigilation and note-Taking services, reviewing disability documentation, supporting faculty with accommodations, and ensuring the operational flow of exam accommodations.

Candidates must possess a diploma of college studies (Dec) in special education or an equivalent qualification, along with strong verbal and written communication skills in both english and french. Relevant work experience supporting students with accommodations in a higher education setting and familiarity with adaptive technology are required.
