Core responsibilities
Employees perform clinical work involving the screening, identification, assessment, interpretation, diagnosis, rehabilitation, and prevention of communication disorders based on professional standards and district policies. This includes active participation on interdisciplinary teams, consultation, determining service delivery options, and working in collaboration with speech therapy assistants to support children and families.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in speech language pathology or communication disorders from a recognized university and must be registered and in good standing with the new brunswick association of speech language pathologists and audiologists. Experience in early childhood education is considered an asset, and reliable transportation is required for frequent travel within the district.
