Core responsibilities
The instructor will deliver high-Quality lifesaving society national lifeguard courses adhering to established guidelines and standards, which includes planning and organizing courses using both short-Term and long-Term lesson plans. Responsibilities also involve managing course materials, setting up and dismantling equipment, and fostering positive relationships with candidates and peers in a safe environment.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience lifeguarding and teaching aquatic leadership courses, holding current lifesaving society national lifeguard instructor and national lifeguard certifications, along with standard first aid with cpr-C. Applicants must also be willing to work flexible evening and weekend hours and provide a clear, current criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
