Sexual Violence Prevention and Education Coordinator

• Coordinates campus-Wide sexual violence prevention and awareness initiatives in a variety of formats at nwp sites.
• Seeks opportunities to engage external organizations/Individuals who can provide specialized training and education to our campus community.
• Works to assess and improve access to reporting of sexual violence for students on campus.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with campus partners and identifies opportunities to collaborate on initiatives.
• Liaises with other post-Secondary institutions provincially to share best practices and partner on joint program and campaign development.
• Oversees the recruitment and management of student volunteers engaging in awareness initiatives on campus

A diploma or bachelor's degree in a related discipline and two years experience related to sexual violence prevention education and awareness campaign development. Skills include proficiency in microsoft office, knowledge of sexual and gender-Based violence issues, understanding of trauma impacts, communication skills, organizational skills, relationship building, and professionalism.
