Child and Youth Care Worker

The child and youth care worker will establish supportive relationships with youth through mentorship and positive reinforcement while supervising them both at home and in the community. Responsibilities also include maintaining daily activity documentation and participating in care team development for care plans and programs.

Mandatory requirements include a valid alberta class 5 driver's license, specific auto insurance coverage, current first aid/Cpr/Aed certification, and recent criminal record and intervention record checks. Direct experience with youth exhibiting complex behavioral and mental health needs is expected.
