Duties include scheduled contact time with students and non-Classroom time such as lecture preparation, student consultation, marking, grading, and course administration, including handling grade appeals and academic dishonesty cases. These responsibilities are in accordance with article 22.01 of the collective agreement.
Applicants must hold an ma or phd in a humanities or social science discipline with a focus on digital media, though senior doctoral candidates may be considered if no qualified applicants apply. Evidence of teaching effectiveness in project management or related areas and familiarity with online learning management systems are also required.
