The supervisor provides operational leadership and supervision to the childcare program, ensuring compliance with all ymca policies and the child care and early years act requirements. They are also responsible for developing and delivering quality programs that support healthy child development and maintaining positive relationships with families and school administrators.
Candidates must possess a college diploma or university degree in early childhood education or a certified teaching degree, and reces must be in good standing. A minimum of two years working with children and families in a licensed childcare environment is an asset, along with working knowledge of the child care early years act.
