The interpretive coordinator is responsible for bringing the stories of sulphur mountain to life through engaging guest experiences, which includes supporting and delivering interpretive programming on topics like geology, wildlife, and history. This role also involves mentoring frontline teams in storytelling and developing new training materials and content for guest experiences.
Required qualifications include previous experience in interpretive guiding, education, or training, along with exceptional communication and storytelling skills. A background in geology, biology, environmental science, or a related field is preferred, and candidates must be mature, energetic, dependable, and committed to environmental education.
