Friday 8:30 am &ndash; 4:30 pm</p> <p><strong>Summary:</strong></p> <p>This position will be working out of the Tsay Keh Dene Community and reporting to the Manager of Health Wellness. Duties:</strong></p> <p><em>Supervisory

Responsibilities:</em></p> <p>&middot; Ensure appropriate curriculum implementation and improvements of teaching performance including supervision of up to twelve (12) children and one (1) staff member</p> <p>&middot; Review and assist teachers in the development of yearly goals and objectives</p> <p>&middot; Identify and assist teachers in meetings their performance needs</p> <p>&middot; Monitor Head Start and AIDP staff performance</p> <p>&middot; Review and assist teachers in the development of classroom lesson plans</p> <p>&middot; Conduct post-observation conferences to assist teachers in improving instructional competencies</p> <p>&middot; Develop and assist with the delivery of age appropriate programs</p> <p><em>Personnel:</em></p> <p>&middot; Rate employment performance and prescribed goals for improvement</p> <p>&middot; Conduct summary evaluations of staff</p> <p>&middot; Communicate constructive feedback in regards to requirements, concerns, and/or clarifications to the role performance</p> <p>&middot; Assist staff in establishing future performance goals and objectives</p> <p><em>Staff

Development:</em></p> <p>&middot; Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of all Head Start & AIDP staff members</p> <p>&middot; Develop and implement a staff Development Strategy for the entire Head Start & AIDP Program</p> <p>&middot; Assess staff performance essentials</p> <p>&middot; Communicate staff development requirements the Head Start & AIDP staff</p> <p>&middot; Monitor Student Behavior by means of development and implementation of center-wide student behavior policies and procedures</p> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <p><em>Education and Experience</em></p> <p>&middot; College Diploma in the Human Services field including &ndash; Early Childhood Education (ECE), Educational Assistance (EA) or a related field is preferred.</p> <p>&middot; Relating training in the area of children with special needs and/or Under 3 Training</p> <p>&middot; Minimum five (5) years with integrated groups of preschool aged children</p> <p>&middot; Demonstrated excellent competencies in oral and written communication skills</p> <p>&middot; Ability to effectively interact and relate to children in a developmentally appropriate manner</p> <p><em>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</em></p> <p>&middot; Ability to communicate in English is required</p> <p>&middot; Must successfully complete and pass a Criminal Record check</p> <p>&middot; Knowledge and understand the School Board Policies, Compliance Regulations and appropriate Legislation.</p> <p>&middot; First Aid certified preferred</p> <p>&middot; Excellent interpersonal skills</p> <p>&middot; High energy level</p> <p>&middot; Genuinely committed to the development and facilitation of children learning improvement and advancement</p> <p>&middot; A board knowledge of child development and teaching methods</p> <p>&middot; Cultural sensitivity</p> <p>&middot; Excellent problem solving skills</p> <p>&middot; Excellent negotiation and mediation skills</p> <p>&middot; Ability and willingness to perform required physical tasks</p> <p>&middot; Ability to recognize individual learning styles and the characteristics of the learners</p> <p>&middot; Ability to maintain confidentiality, honesty and integrity at all times</p> <p>&middot; Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet set deadlines</p> <p>&middot; High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite and computer usage.</p> <p>&middot; Highly self-motivating and dedication to continual learning and development</p> <p><strong>Work
