The braille specialist teaches uncontracted and contracted braille to individuals with vision loss, planning and delivering instruction tailored to each learner's needs. Responsibilities also include collaborating with other specialists and completing administrative tasks related to teaching.
Candidates must have certification in contracted braille and at least two years of teaching experience. Proficiency in unified english braille and relevant technology is also required.
