Provide intervention and prevention services to enhance students’ development and health promotion. Build inclusive, trauma-informed, enabling school cultures and empower students toward positive change. Promote personal and social development appropriate to developmental stages. Counsel students, their families, and the community to foster growth in self-esteem and individual responsibility. Support skills development including decision making and social skills. Promote equity by identifying and ameliorating environmental and personal barriers to student success. Enhance educational achievement by assisting with development and implementation of educational plans including IEPs and Positive Behavior Support Plans. Play a key role in successful student transitions. Liaise with Learning Services personnel and outside agencies in support of students and families
