Design and deliver engaging English Language Arts learning experiences aligned with Montessori adolescent principles and provincial curriculum requirements. Foster a literary environment that develops communication, critical thinking, research, writing, and discussion skills. Lead Arts Education experiences that encourage creativity, self-expression, craftsmanship, and artistic exploration. Participate in interdisciplinary Field Studies connecting classroom learning to real-world experiences and community engagement. Lead and/or collaborate on components of service learning and micro-economy. Collaborate with two teaching colleagues to create integrated, project-based learning opportunities. Serve as an advisor and mentor supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development. Guide students in developing executive functioning, self-management, and leadership skills. Contribute to student exhibitions, performances, community projects, and experiential learning opportunities. Participate in outdoor education, field experiences, and overnight trips as required (typically two trips per year). Build strong partnerships with families and maintain regular communication regarding student growth and development
