Overview
Provide clinical and academic services within the Social Pediatrics program. Provide patient care on Social Pediatrics clinical services. Provide outreach care to equity-owed children, youth and families across British Columbia, focused on Vancouver’s inner-city neighbourhoods. Provide care at the outreach clinic at 410 Campbell Ave, Vancouver BC and at other city sites including school and community clinic-based outreach. Deliver care in non-traditional health contexts. Provide trauma-informed care and decolonized approaches to health provision. Support children and youth with complex neurodevelopmental and behavioural conditions (advantage). Teach with and without patient care for medical students, residents and fellows. Demonstrate commitment to best practice and advancing knowledge in Social Pediatrics. Engage in opportunities to develop additional skills in research, quality improvement, advocacy, and community engagement
