Overview
Provide instruction in Adult 10 and 12 classes, including ELA 30 and Financial Literacy. Support students in a flexible learning environment. Manage the classroom to ensure an optimum learning environment. Plan and deliver learning activities reflecting values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community. Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students. Maintain records of achievement, attendance, and other student-related information and report as required. Identify resources and equipment appropriate to support curriculum/course implementation. Be reflective and responsive to accommodation of special learning needs, including equity groups and diverse learners. Use appropriate instructional methodologies to be flexible and responsive to learner needs. Respond to curriculum/course demands and adjust according to learner needs. Assist students in personal, academic, and career development. Engage students in learning activities designed to strengthen ties to work and/or career development. Where required, develop relationships with external partners and employers to support students in working experience. Practice good interpersonal and communication skills. Pursue professional development opportunities to keep current with employer and educational requirements. Work cooperatively in an interdependent team environment.
