Teach at the elementary level as a Learning Assistance Teacher. Provide individualized and group instruction for students with academic and social/emotional learning difficulties. Write, implement, and evaluate IEPs at the elementary school level. Use technology to support student needs. Teach study and organizational skills and consistently monitor academic progress. Collaborate with staff in a collaborative model to enhance student learning. Work with teams on common literacy and implement school initiatives and goals. Plan for moderate behavior students and apply Positive Behavior Support (PBS) knowledge. Work with staff on the Framework for Enhancing Student Learning and participate in professional development
