Plan and prepare learning materials for instructional environments. Teach the lab course HCA 120: Personal Care and Assistance to a cohort of international HCA students. Implement creative strategies for preparation and delivery of lab course activities. Provide documentation and follow-up regarding student concerns and problem resolution. Facilitate management of conflict. Direct student learning in a positive, supportive, and caring environment. Be available to students during scheduled office hours and classroom hours (30 hours/week noted). Communicate learning outcomes in writing and evaluate learners against outcomes. Design and conduct student evaluations/appraisals and keep students informed of progress. Submit grades in a timely manner. Maintain records of student enrollment and achievement and submit marks/records to the department Chair at end of employment. Work within college educational policies and contribute to education/strategic plan goals. Advise the Department Chair on ordering needs (books, supplies, equipment) and enrollment management strategies. Advise on health and safety concerns and assist in rectifying problems. Maintain continuous professional development. Participate in college committees and department meetings/activities when possible
