Overview
Provide leadership to BCEHS and the Learning & Development department for the development, execution, and sustainability of BCEHS as a learning organization. Lead and manage implementation of clinical learning and professional growth initiatives, setting priorities and monitoring progress. Provide visionary leadership through mentoring and fostering a culture of learning, leadership, and continuous professional growth. Develop networks and build alliances; collaborate with stakeholders including vendors, government agencies, and other health authorities. Lead learning-related activities including education needs assessments, planning, instructional design, organizational readiness, resource development and distribution, education delivery modes, and research and evaluation. Oversee human resource management within the designated portfolio including performance assessments, appraisals, conflict resolution, recruiting, and management of consultant contracts. Develop and monitor an annual budget for the portfolio, including monitoring budget performance, adjusting deliverables to meet targets, approving expenditures, and preparing fiscal reporting summaries. Liaise with finance representatives and senior leadership on budget matters
