Requires an Early Childhood Education degree or diploma and membership in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators. Candidates must have experience working with children, including those with special needs, and possess current First Aid certification.
Market context
In Ontario, Early Childhood Educator roles are typically in steady demand as licensed child care and early learning programs staff classrooms and maintain required educator-to-child ratios. These positions are competitive because employers often look for active College registration, current First Aid/CPR, and a clear Vulnerable Sector Search, while benefits such as pension, paid personal days, vacation entitlement, and a benefits package can strengthen an offer. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your registration status and certifications before applying.
