Market context

Philosophy TA roles remain selective

In Ontario, teaching assistant roles tied to philosophy courses are typically driven by course enrollment and departmental staffing needs, so openings can be limited and competitive. Candidates with a Baccalaureate in Philosophy or a related field may stand out, especially when they can show readiness for academic support duties under the collective agreement. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your coursework and support experience match the posting before applying.
