Job Description

Note: These are part-time temporary Faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week) starting September 9, 2026, and ending December 11, 2026.

  • These positions are located at 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd., London, Ontario. In your cover letter, please provide your availability to teach in person between Monday and Thursday (8am - 10pm), and Friday (8am - 8pm). Fanshawe College is seeking interested and experienced early childhood educators to teach part-time in the Early Childhood Education program in the School of Community Studies. Why This Role Is Important Reporting to the Program Manager, part-time Professors at Fanshawe College are responsible for providing academic leadership and for developing an effective learning environment for students. Availability for in-person on campus delivery is required, and successful candidates will be required to perform work within Ontario.
  • An overview of the program and courses can be found here: Early Childhood Education | Fanshawe College What You’ll Bring Registered member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators (or equivalent) is required Relevant Bachelor’s degree required. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree in a related discipline as well as consideration will be given to applicants who are currently enrolled in a Master’s program Minimum 5 years of recent and relevant work experience Experience in an inter-professional work environment preferred ECE diploma an asset Previous post-secondary teaching experience (hybrid and/or online delivery) and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets Active in pursuit of scholarly activities Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success Excellent communicator Strong interpersonal skills Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners from different backgrounds Strong computer skills and familiarity with various technologies Fanshawe College uses Workday to manage recruitment and hiring processes.
