The facilitator is responsible for creating an inclusive, educational, and safe environment for children through high-quality programming and skill-building activities. They provide direct support to the Site Coordinator and ensure safe supervision in accordance with provincial policies.

Implementing procedures for high-quality programming, providing consistent feedback on delivery and ensuring all individual and group needs are met through a child-centered lens
Creating an educational, safe, clean and enjoyable environment for children.
Fostering self-esteem, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills in children.
Developing and maintaining constructive and open communication with staff.
Understanding and following through on all YMCA policies, procedures and guidelines, as outlined in the Policies and Procedures Manual and Parent Handbook.
Participating in a team-teaching approach in the supervision of the children and the development of the program.
