  • One - on
  • One Support Worker We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time One-on-One Support Worker. In this role, you will work closely with a kindergarten student who requires emotional support, providing guidance and direction during playtime activities. Your primary responsibility will be to create a supportive and engaging environment that fosters positive interactions and helps the child develop essential social and emotional skills.

Key Responsibilities

Engage with the children in various play activities, including games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play, while encouraging positive behavior and social interactions. Implement behavioral management strategies tailored to the individual needs of each child, promoting self-regulation and conflict resolution skills. Collaborate with other members of the support team, including parents, teachers, and therapists, to ensure consistency and continuity in the children's care and development. Document and communicate observations of the children's behavior and progress to the appropriate stakeholders. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Eligibility

At least 19 years old, with a clear criminal record check (or willingness to obtain one), and valid First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Certification: Responsible Adult Course required (20-hour course, cost covered by us)

Two part-time positions available

1) 7:00am - 8:30am and 2:30pm - 4:30pm 2) 2:15pm - 5:45pm

Schedule: Monday to Friday No weekends

Location: 12178 Bonson Road , Pitt Meadows , BC V3Y 2L5

Requirements

Candidates must be at least 19 years old with a clear criminal record check and First Aid certification. A Responsible Adult Course is required, which the employer will fund.
