Integrate Biblical truths into daily PE classes and help students view health, stewardship, and physical movement from God’s perspective.

Model Christ-like behavior and coach self-discipline and positive conflict resolution on and off the court.

Contribute to school-wide wellness initiatives, athletic events, and elementary sports activities.

Maintain effective classroom management that promotes an effective learning environment and upholds student dignity.

Develop learning outcomes, lesson plans, and fair assessment methods to track physical literacy and health awareness.

Collaborate to develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with physical, academic, or social-emotional difficulties.

Establish consistent gymnasium routines and safety procedures for receiving students, managing equipment, and utilizing athletic spaces.

Maintain proactive, encouraging communication with parents regarding student engagement and progress

The K–Grade 5 PHE Teacher is responsible for fostering physical literacy, healthy living habits, and a love for active play in our elementary students. Rooted in a Christ-centred worldview, this role goes beyond skill development to mentor young learners in sportsmanship, teamwork, resilience, and honoring God with their bodies. Requirements
