FAPT 39-26 Part-Time Instructor First Nations Studies 390-3: Seminar in First Nations Studies

Department of First Nations Studies Faculty of Indigenous Studies, Social Sciences and Humanities Part-time, Term The Department of First Nations Studies at UNBC invites applications for a Part-time Instructor for the Fall 2026 semester.

This course will be taught in-person on the Prince George Campus on Fridays from 8:30-11:30am First Nations Studies 390-3: Seminar in First Nations Studies Lectures and readings examine the history of Indigenous people in Canada since the earliest times.

The Peace River-Liard campus in Fort St.

John is situated on the traditional territory of the Doig River, Blueberry River and Halfway River First Nations.

They are the Dunne-Za people.

The Northwest campus in Terrace is situated on traditional Ts’msyen (Tsimshian) territory of the Kitsumkalum and Kitselas First Nations.

It includes a satellite campus in the coastal community of Prince Rupert.

Salary The salary for Part-Time Sessional Instructors is determined on the basis of Semester Contact Hour (SCH) at a rate of $3,231.53 per SCH.
