Market context
Diabetes educator roles in Nova Scotia are often tied to chronic disease management needs across clinics and community settings, so employers typically look for candidates who can work independently and collaborate across care teams. These roles are competitive because they require regulated credentials, a relevant health degree, BLS, and often prefer CDCES certification plus experience with Indigenous communities.
