<p><strong>Position Description</strong></p> <div><strong>Our district is seeking BC-certified teaching professionals to work as <strong>Teachers Teaching on Call-Elementary and Secondary-</strong>in the Prince George area, which includes rural area schools at Nukko Lake, Giscome, Hixon, and Beaverly. </strong><strong>Applicants must have a current BC Teacher's Certificate (or be in the process of being certified). <strong>Please note that we are looking to hire qualified teachers who are able to preferably commit to 3-5 days of work a week.</strong></strong></div> <div><strong><strong> </strong></strong></div> <div><strong><strong>This posting is specific to teachers who were previously employed as teachers in SD57 and retired from their teaching career and wish to return to employment with SD57 as Teachers Teaching on Call (TTOC)</strong></strong> <div></div> <div> </div> <div>Your application must include a letter of application and resume as well as the names of your last two supervisors <strong>as </strong>professional references with accompanying email addresses and phone numbers<strong>.</strong><strong> </strong> <strong>Application deadline remains open.</strong> By application, candidates give permission to the Prince George School District to contact any references or any past or present employers named in the application.

57 serves approximately 13,000 students in 40 schools in an area that extends from Mackenzie to the north, through Prince George, west to Cluculz Lake, south to Hixon and east to McBride and Valemount to the Alberta Border. </p> <p>The district employs approximately 1,850 people, making it one of the largest employers outside of the lower mainland of British Columbia.</p> <p>We are a dynamic and progressive district.

Requirements
