About the role

Act as a role model to provide leadership and supervision for children's programs. Focus on promoting fun, fitness, skill development, and overall well-being through various activities.

Summer (June 30 - September 4, 2026)

Term Position, Monday-Friday-up to 40 hours/week

As a day camp counsellor, you will be a strong role model providing leadership while emphasizing fun, fitness, skill development and health and well-being in a wide variety of activities.

Are you the right fit?

  • Enjoy working with children/youth ages 4-16
  • Assist in development/delivery and supervision of children’s programs and activities
  • Ability to lead, encourage and engage camper participation in daily activities
  • Able to build positive relationships and provide ongoing communication/leadership with campers, families, staff and volunteers

What else do you need?

  • Minimum 16 years of age
  • Emergency First Aid and CPR C
  • Strong communication and problem solving/decision making skills
  • Experience working with children
