Reporting to the Program Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of residents in our supportive therapeutic home for youth. Qualifications
Education: Related post-secondary training, education, and willing to complete additional training through Hollyburn
Experience: Proven experience working with individuals with support needs, including behavioural and attachment challenges.
Certifications: First Aid and CPR, Mandt (we will train those who require these certifications)
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in strategy development, mediation, counseling, advocacy, community networking, and life skills management.
Knowledge of adult and youth care approaches, service plan development, and applicable legislation/regulations.
Must be 19 years of age or older
Proof of COVID-19 double vaccination record or exemption from the provincial health authority
Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License
Preference will be given to qualified applicants of Indigenous ancestry
Key Responsibilities
1. Resident Support
Participate in assessments, goal setting, and progress evaluation for assigned individuals.
Complete and maintain required documentation, including intake forms, progress reports, and discharge reports.
Maintain open, authorized communication with families and professionals involved.
Implement and update behaviour support plans in collaboration with the Program Manager.
Ensure individuals’ safety, well-being, and physical needs are met, including personal hygiene and medical/dental care. 2.

Maintenance:
Maintain the home to health and safety standards.

Duties:
Maintain accurate reports, statistics, and daily activity logs.
Manage daily petty cash during shifts.
Attend program and staff meetings, as well as supervision and training sessions.
Assist Program Supervisor in maintaining client files
Work with service clinician to support client intakes, transitions and discharges from programs
Take leadership role in implementing client behaviour support plans.
Monitor specific client programs and oversee data tracking to ensure consistency
Provide coaching to frontline team members to ensure that they develop appropriate skills to achieve successful client outcomes.
Working Conditions
This role is based in program homes with an on-site work arrangement.
40 hours/week. Sunday-Thursday 3pm-11pm OR Tuesday-Saturday (7am-3pm Tuesday, 3pm-11pm Wednesday-Saturday)
