Provide chairside intra-oral dental assisting to undergraduate dental and dental hygiene students and instructors. Mentor students on intra-oral skills and anticipate their needs during the delivery of dental treatment.
Requires a diploma or certificate from an accredited Dental Assisting Program or NDAEB certification and current registration with CADA/CDAA. Candidates must have two years of previous RDA experience and current CPR Health Care Provider Level C and WHMIS certifications.
Location - This role is in-person at High Level/La Crete, Alberta.
This position will working in both High Level and La Crete Alberta providing chairside intra-oral dental assisting to undergraduate dental and dental hygiene students and instructors within the scope of practice for a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). The RDA mentors dental and dental hygiene students on intra-oral skills during the delivery of dental treatment and is required to anticipate student needs for assistance.
