- You will step into our classrooms to implement our Montessori-inspired curriculum and maintain a safe, warm, and inclusive environment. </p><p> This is a casual, on-call position for the duration of the school year, from September through to June, for an 8.5-hour day sometime between 8:00 am and 5:15 pm. </p><p> TOCs will be contacted as needed, either being pre-scheduled in advance or contacted the morning of the shift.</p><p><br></br></p><p> </p><p><b> Success Factors</b></p><ul><li><p> Certified Early Childhood Educator (ECE) and a valid BC license to practice. </p></li><li><p> Montessori Training would be considered an asset </p></li><li><p> Past experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or similar setting. </p></li><li><p> Current First Aid & CPR Certification. </p></li><li><p> Clearance of a Criminal Record Check. </p></li><li><p> Experience in an Independent School would be an asset. </p></li><li><p> Computer Skills: Google Classroom, docs, sheets, slides, and Gmail. </p></li><li><p> Ability to understand the importance of emotional intelligence and empathy in building trust and contributing to a positive working atmosphere across the School community. </p></li><li><p> Known to communicate, negotiate, collaborate, and build partnerships effectively.</p><p><br></br></p></li></ul><p> As part of our active commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we strive to welcome students, families, and employees with a diverse range of identities and backgrounds to enrich the Aberdeen Hall family with varied perspectives.</p><p> The successful applicant will be a team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to supporting children in a caring and collaborative environment.
