As a tutor, you will be an integral part of a team, working one-on-one with children and families, teaching meaningful skills in all life areas based on individualized goals. Qualifications

Minimum education of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent Strong written and oral communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to work within a team Current First Aid and CPR certification Assets: Post-secondary course work in behaviour modification/applied behaviour analysis (ABA) Previous experience as a tutor in a supervised applied behaviour analysis (ABA) program Previous experience working with children and/or adults with developmental disabilities or ASD Knowledge of the philosophies and practices in education, care and support services for individuals with disabilities We Provide: Excellent, ongoing training in creative teaching strategies and behavioural principles Regularly scheduled team meetings for collaboration with supervisors and co-workers A significant career path in the field of ABA specializing in ASD The opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and their families Excellent benefits package The above information is intended to describe the general nature of this position and is not considered to be a complete statement of duties and responsibilities. Conditions of Employment
