Job description

  • <p><strong>Catholic Independent Schools requires a<br></br>.55 FTE Middle School Grade Seven to Nine (7-8-9) Teacher<br></br> at Veritas K – 9 School in Terrace, BC</strong> </p><p><strong>This is a .55 FTE teacher position beginning September 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027</strong></p><p><strong>Teaching subjects - Health/Career 7/8/9, Religion 7/8/9, and Elective 7/8 </strong></p><p><strong>Applicants must hold, or be eligible for a British Columbia Teaching Certificate.
  • Applicants should have experience with Middle/Jr.
  • High School grades.
  • The elective is flexible ( e.g. drama, debate, textiles, technology, etc. or a passion you have that is teachable!) </strong></p><p><strong>Successful candidates must be current in teaching practices and understand the BC Curriculum: e.g.
  • Learning Standards, Assessment for Learning (AFL) practice, and core competencies.
