Swim Instructor

• We are seeking an extraordinary Swim Instructor to join our swim program in Halifax.
• As the Swim Instructor, you will be delivering exceptional lessons, and ensuring a fantastic swimming experience for all.
• This is a part-time position with available shift times on Sundays and Wednesdays.
• Additional shifts available as substitute instructor.

Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate engaging swimming lessons for students of all ages and skill levels, from tadpoles to seasoned mermaids and mermen. Bring your expertise to the pool deck and demonstrate impeccable swimming techniques and strokes with style and finesse. Follow and implement our innovative lesson plans that make a splash with our students and keep them hooked on swimming. Ensure a safe and secure swimming environment by maintaining constant vigilance and enforcing our water safety protocols. Make a splash of fun by creating a positive and lively atmosphere that encourages laughter, and a love for swimming. Keep track of student progress, provide constructive feedback, and celebrate milestones as they master new swimming skills.

Qualifications

Dive into this opportunity armed with a certification in CPR-C, Standard First Aid, and National Lifeguard Certificate.
