  • Required:</div> <ol> <li>First Nations Language Teacher Certificate in Okanagan Language (as recognized by the BC Teacher Regulation Brand (TRB)). Uncertified language teacher applications may be considered with a commitment to complete the TRB Letter of Permission; </li> <li>recent experience teaching Okanagan language;</li> <li>proficient in speaking and writing in Okanagan and English;</li> <li>ability to model, teach and foster social, emotional and cultural awareness;</li> <li>knowledge of current effective instruction and assessment practices;</li> <li>demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the professional community at the school and district level;</li> <li>effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and classroom management skills;</li> <li>ability to integrate technology into educational programs.</li> </ol> <div> <div><strong>CLOSING

Requirements

First Nations Language Teacher Certificate in Okanagan Language or Letter of Permission.

Recent experience teaching Okanagan language.

Proficiency in Okanagan and English.

Teamwork and effective communication skills.

Ability to integrate technology into educational programs
