Qualifications
Required:</div> <ol> <li>First Nations Language Teacher Certificate in Okanagan Language (as recognized by the BC Teacher Regulation Brand (TRB)). Uncertified language teacher applications may be considered with a commitment to complete the TRB Letter of Permission; </li> <li>recent experience teaching Okanagan language;</li> <li>proficient in speaking and writing in Okanagan and English;</li> <li>ability to model, teach and foster social, emotional and cultural awareness;</li> <li>knowledge of current effective instruction and assessment practices;</li> <li>demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the professional community at the school and district level;</li> <li>effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and classroom management skills;</li> <li>ability to integrate technology into educational programs.</li> </ol> <div> <div><strong>CLOSING
