Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Completion of at least Level 1 Early Childhood Development Training. Possession of valid CPR and First Aid Training Certificates. Submission of a Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check. Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (preferred). Familiarity with Cold Lake First Nation’s culture, government, languages, and community dynamics is an asset. Ability to adapt to new situations, conflicts, and crises with patience and professionalism. Working Conditions and/or Physical Requirements: On-Call must be available Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, based on daycare needs and staffing requirements. Evening and weekend work may be required to attend meetings, events, and community engagement sessions. Close interaction with children and parents as needed to address their needs and concerns. Engagement in outdoor activities with children, weather permitting. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.
