The Basketball Development Officer is responsible for delivering high-quality coaching to youth players and managing administrative tasks such as scheduling and recruitment. They will design training programs, track player progress, and collaborate with staff to meet participation and performance targets.
Candidates must have proven experience as a basketball coach, preferably in a youth development setting, and possess extensive knowledge of basketball fundamentals. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are required, along with valid coaching certifications.
Proven experience as a basketball coach, preferably in a development or youth program. Extensive knowledge of basketball fundamentals, strategies, and training methods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with players of all ages and backgrounds. Strong organizational and time management skills to balance coaching and administrative responsibilities. Ability to develop and implement training programs tailored to individual and team needs. Familiarity with recruitment processes and strategies to attract talented players. Passion for basketball and a commitment to personal and professional development. Valid coaching certifications and qualification.
Compensation: $21-27 per hour
